Aneres

Born in the depths of Poseidon’s realm, a symbol of beauty
A mystic creature singing in celebration of immortality
Addict to my voice and become tipsy,
Let my music fill your being, yield to me
Listen, bedazzled, while giving your soul willingly,
I award you death, to lead you to truth of purity

My exquisiteness disgraces Aphrodite and Venus
Bow to me, man, angel, and gin, bow in hypnosis
Let aqua waves tenderly cradle silver tresses
Let Appolo’s glare become shy in the presence of amethyst eyes
Let delicate bubbles tickle a lean body
Let mighty Ares and Eros burn with jealousy

Away from your eyes, I’m hidden
You can’t defile me with your thoughts, I’m forbidden
Protect you not, for I am a curse
My spell is passion and loves noxious thirst
Splendor mocking Zeus’s art
Seductress of every beating heart

Song is enough to ensnare your senses
A lone note will set you restless
Circe isn’t your ally and you are not Ulysses
Sorceress isn’t with you, unaided in my clutches
Yet you chance to perceive my face,
My granted ecstasy will be your slaughtering embrace.

Rush

Rush to me
...quickly flow through me
Do what you do so marvelously to me
Bring back the passion
...while we are mixed in fusion
Let me hear you humming
...hold me tight, caressing

Look to me
...those eyes piercing me
With that stare possessing me
Bring back the pleasure
...inundate me with rapture
Shine down upon me
...fill my soul with warmth, divinely

Speak to me
...lips tasting syrupy
Thoroughly pleasing me
Bring back the sensation
...the sweetest intoxication

I implore you
...so I may adore you.

The Crossing

Emerging capabilities of the flourishing soul
An ample of philosophies, wonders untold

Addiction to discovery
No desire, no antidote for recovery

Scorching thirst is mysterious
To unattainable knowledge, delirious

My world is mine,
Welcoming you anytime

We’re about to jump,
Tightly hold my hand
Crossing to the other side,
Imagination and determination are in demand

Hold your breath, we have reached the threshold
Hold on tight, you’re about to explore

Gravity…
Back to the coffee shop corner; your reality.

He's Love

Darkness fiercely swallows the existence
The mute world reeks with the stench of death
Hope being abstract is useless,
It must be touched
Too weak to keep up the resistance,
She struggles for breath

Then he opens his eyes

He holds the light in his left
What’s left in his right is the hope
It all has a shape now;
It all can be heard and touched
Now love is a being,
He was love all along.

Omega Dune

View from our Omega
The Omega on the right side of the Main Gate Plaza at AUB was my hang out place during my college years.  My friends and I, a group of people from different majors, experiences and backgrounds sat there at around noon.  It was truly a demonstration of unity and love between the Lebanese youth.  Today, May 13, 2008 is a day of sorrow since the Lebanese people have been killing each other for the past week over ridiculously obsolete matters.
I prey for the return of the Omega days.
Omega Dune
Let us meet at around noon
On the right side Omega dune
A mix of sects, experiences and races
A mix of brothers, friends, and familiar faces
Let it be through Main Gate
Let our pandemic escape
Infecting those with reason and tolerance
Putting an end to chaos and grief, no hindrance
Let us meet at around noon
On the right side Omega dune
Let us show them what it means to be one
Let us show them what it looks like to have the conflict done
